"For years my friends were telling me to hire a personal trainer.  I had all these “reasons” (which really were just excuses) as to why I wouldn’t.   Why would I pay someone to work out with me when I can work out by myself?  But I DIDN’T work out myself.  And even when I did, I didn’t push myself.   In a moment of weakness (LOL), I reached out to Laura quickly before I could change my mind.  I could not be happier for that “powerless” moment, when I realized I needed help.  Laura has been such a joy to work with.  She is the perfect combo of “pushing” me in my workouts, yet supporting me in any of my concerns - and I do mean ANY of my concerns!  From helping me figure out the best exercises to not aggrevate my arthritis to letting me complain about work, my husband, or anything else I’m cranky about, she helps me “bring it to the bar” in my workouts.  We get along so well and chat so much, the hour goes by before I know it!  Not only have I gained a great trainer, I have made a good friend (and that is definitely not something I expected).  Oh – and let me not forget one of the most important things - I lost 15 pounds in 4 months and have kept it off! "
